Still stiff, possibly from all the walking yesterday.

Took it easy today. Mainly because in the afternoon I began a 'procedure' in preparation for tomorrow's 'procedure'. The less said about this the better...

Checked in for our flights today - we're off on holiday on Friday. A friend was coming a few days early to meet Archie and get to know him, and then look after him, but she has had a bit of a set back healthwise, and can’t be here until we're away. No worries, arrangements have been made to pass the lad around until she gets here. Phew.

JR took him up the hill, where he met Sammie and Rosie, schnauzers he meets a lot. And he was certainly the slimmest.

This tree is out earlier than most in the city, but what a lovely sight it is. The grotty old van came and parked just at the wrong time. (Photo by JR)
