The Distant Silhouette Against The Clouds

On my way home this evening, I just had to stop as looking down from the hill behind the house over the Vale of York just below me were 7 or 8 red kites. They were making the most of the light breeze and the food supply in the field below. I didn’t have my long lens with me, so had to make do with what I had, but I liked the distant silhouette against the clouds.
