Royal Purple

HM Queen's racing silks are Purple with Gold Braid, Red Sleeves.  This particular flower reminded me .... especially with a red pulsatilla nearby.

Mostly an admin day, a few little jobs - and one big one - finished off.  Prepared a talk for this evening - now delivered and well received.  Cut the grass (not going to call it a lawn!) for the first time this year.  Weeding and a couple of other little jobs outside.  A mix-and-match kind of day but a good one nonetheless.
