Traveling

Today my sister Jennie and I have traveled from Canberra and Canterbury respectively to coincide our arrival at Auckland airport.

From there we headed a bit further north to where Dad lived. We're staying in Dad's apartment and my brother in law Nick joins us Wednesday.

It's been a long day, longer for Jennie than me. It's so good to see each other. We've laughed, cried, and are reminiscing.

hpx has forgotten to bring something to sleep in so I've commandeered one of Dad's shirts. I'm ok with that.

Tomorrow we have a long list of things to finalise - the florist, order of service etc.

One thing is for sure, laughter is very, very good for the soul.
