A lazy day on Lake Como

I started with a swim. The ducks got out of the pool when I asked them nicely and it was pure magic.

After breakfast I bought my all day ticket (discounted as I’m “anciana”) and headed for Lenno where there was a market. Not a tourist one - a real one.

A glass of Prosecco and we were ready to head off on the boat.

I went to Varenna to explore (and to find the restaurant that I’d been told was unmissable.)

A single perfect raviolo with delicious vegetables, followed by Lake fish (lavorello) on perfect saffron purée with green veg grown here (no translation). My friend was not wrong
