Two dogs, one leash

A cool day but sunny, finally. The dogs are always happy to see each other and get out. Another difficult day for reentry, though. When was it that she was thanking me for getting her a room there??

She is also talking a lot about her husband, wondering if he still likes her, wondering where he is. When I suggested that they hadn't been living together for a while but that it seemed okay (a mistimed insertion of truth), she gasped and said, "He's leaving me?! That would break my heart."

I can only say, thank goodness for our walks.
