Trinidad and Togaygo

A mini solo celebration, consisting of some gooey chocolate brownies scoffed on my bed, to mark a great piece of news from Trinidad and Tobago.

I was reading an article about the recent decriminalisation of homosexuality there, and the very positive remarks made by the presiding judge. A legal friend I knew in Cambodia was noted as the UK based lawyer who was pivotal in supporting local activists. Huge congratulations to them for their efforts and thanks on behalf of everyone in the world who is pro equality.

Here's to finally overturning abhorrent laws put in place by British colonial regimes. I hope this starts a chain reaction around the Commonwealth and beyond.
