THE LOOK OUT.

Early morning on the canal, and saw the swans on their nest, and once again covered with large slices of white bread. The female swan was trying to swallow one slice whole (see extra). When I came home I phoned the council to see if they would put up a notice asking people not to feed the swans, but I bet they will not bother. I also rang the local paper to see if they could put something in the paper, but at the moment I am waiting for them to phone back.
At last a nice warm day although the sun has only appeared this afternoon.
My friend arrived from Edinburgh at lunchtime to get two of her cairns groomed, so I am pretty tired now, although I am about to head out to the garden before a dog walk and a visit to the care home.
