Day 108/18. Sunshine = Macro Time
The sun came out for the first real time this year. Temperatures soared to a lofty 21 degrees and a few bugs came out to play.
I managed to capture this Green Shield bug at lunchtime, the first I have seen this year. These things are pretty easy to photograph as they rarely move and simply seem to enjoy sitting in the sun, confident their camouflage will protect them. They are also pretty common in our garden throughout the summer. About 15 mm nose to tail.
Taken with a macro lens fitted with an extension tube, so I was only about 5cm away from it.
