Wondering

Jerry brought this turkey feather he found home  for my collection!    It was on the table and I glanced up this morning while I was eating my breakfast and it suddenly struck me that the feather barbs were attached to that  quill in such a way that it was an amazing structure. I had to check out the wikipedia to find out more.   

Nature never fails to astound in its construction of its creatures!
