Beauty

..and the beast.

Yes, I know, I took a lot of pictures at Ashurst this morning, many of the places being extraordinarily beautiful, trees just at leaf burst (one of which is in Extras), but this was the one that made me laugh.  I mean, what else do you do on such a glorious day, but lie in the sun in your favourite place where feckless campers come and offer you food?

So that was my staggeringly beautiful morning.  This afternoon I visited the Old Gent and made him a cup of tea before we had a good old gossip.  He is a dear man, and despite all his considerable problems has a ready laugh and a merry heart.
