Art workshop demo

Today I went to an art workshop by Ian Fennelly a Wirral based artist. He works in watercolour and pen and his pictures are beautiful. 

He demonstrated how he produces his pictures then we chose a view of Chester (he'd brought them with him) and had a go. I really enjoyed trying his style. I could have chosen a more sensible photo than the Watergate/ Eastgate junction as the perspective and shapes of the Tudor buildings were quite challenging! Great fun though and I shall try some of my own using the same techniques.
