In The Woods Today

In that programme on the telly earlier this week about the Queen and her trees there was a bit about Epping Forest. It featured the pollarded ancient beeches and Harry doing some planting. 

So I went up there this afternoon for an explore and snapped these old specimens. I dare you to go there at night with all those spooky shapes to keep you company..

... and on the way back I treated myself to a cheese roll and cuppa at the tea hut.
