Beauty ........

...... is in the eye of the beholder.

Exhibit A. The Central Library in Manchester. I have read that human beings find symmetry beautiful. This is certainly a fine building, modernised sensitively. And it was a beautiful sunny afternoon - not seen many of those recently. There had been a demonstration, lots of slogans and messages chalked onto the paving slabs.

Exhibit B. The front lawn had its first haircut this evening. I noticed this creature (extra) positioned three foot off the ground. A bit of a pest - but there is beauty in a spiral.
