The walk

It was a beautiful start to the day and was already very warm as I crossed the Millennium Bridge. Outer layers were being shed as I walked and the temperature rose.

The air con was working too well in the office and it was much cooler than outside.

As the big boss of our area was in London and one of our colleagues leaves on Friday we went out for lunch. Nice to sit down and chat with colleagues.

On the walk back it was mandatory to eat an ice cream.

As the boys had been on their own all day I was concerned but they seem to have survived.

It’s going to be even hotter tomorrow so I’m now going to find some cooler clothes to wear.
