A Rare Sighting

of a Fantail Grebe (Podiceps rhipidura)

Rather distant so not the best in terms of quality. It should however get the twitchers excited and flocking to K******n Loch to tick this rarity.

If coming, don't forget to visit the cafe to sustain you throughout your vigil.

Well, some of you were not taken in by this light-hearted blip.
It is of course a great-crested grebe that has chosen to wave its leg/foot in the air.
