St Pancras columns
The ground floor of the current St Pancras station is actually the basement of the original station. Barrels of beer were stored etween these iron columns. The dimensions of the barrels dictated the spacing of the columns, so it could be said that this part of St Pancras is designed by the beer industry.
I spent the morning with a company in Tunbridge Wells. Unfortunately, I didn't grab any good pictures there - far too dreich! It was a productive meeting, though. I headed back to work and then went out for pizza with a friend.
