Smiles On A Dull Day

After getting on well with office work I gave myself a little time off to take advantage of the blue sky - needless to say, heavy clouds soon took over the heavens and I was glad of my thermal hat and gloves.

I took my regular route into Northampton town centre via two parks, gathering images as I went, then took a fistful of images of the fair (also see yesterday's blip).

In the end, though, the image that made me smile most was this one. Brave winter pansies! These cheery ones are planted in front of the beautiful stonework of the town hall.
