At the Peak ...

It’s been a lot of fun having Nadine stay with us and be part of our lives. She’s known us for the last 12 years, so there’s familiarity there and we’re very comfortable and happy to have her.

Although the reason she’s staying with us is because she’s waiting for re-approval to get one of our their dogs across to Saudi as that’s where they’re moving to. One was approved and one was not. So it’s a waiting period and she doesn’t know how long, but it should be soon I hope.

Today was touring day with visiting Pastor candidate Danny and his wife Laura. Nadine and I took them up to the Peak, which they loved. Then back down on the tram and we walked through St John’s Cathedral to HSBC, followed by a fabulous dinner at Crystal Jade in the IFC. And thankfully, all three of them really enjoyed the food.

Danny and Laura have had a very full day prior to meeting up with us, so we called it a day after dinner and brought them back to DB.

Lovely getting to know them and spending the day with Nadine, and doing things she had never done before!
