The Old Jewish Cemetery Prague
A lovely warm day. About 24C.
We walked up the hill towards the Castle and then headed for the Stahorvoska Monestry. The thing to see here was the Library but it was mobbed with schoolchildren so after a cursory look we adjourned to a cafe for a coffe and beer.
We then walked across to the lovely Petra hill , scaled the mini Eiffel Tower and wondered down to the town for a very average lunch.
In the afternoon we went to the Jewish Quarter: and saw inside a couple of beautiful synagogues and walked round the Old Jewish Cemetery that dates from the 15th C. There was also a very moving holocaust memorial.
