Edenderry

A reminder of home. The breeder of this daffodil is married to my Primary 1 teacher. His hobbie was breeding and showing daffodils. I remember him showing us how he cultivated them and pollinated them with a small paint brush. He also showed the tiny defects , such as a small split in a petal, which made it unsuitable for showing.
This daffodil is named for a townland and country parish near my home town.
My brother is buried there.
