Anemone Blanda

Didnt get to bed until midnight, and wasnt it warm, we were awake at 4.30......decided to have tea and toast at 5.30, just as it was coming light! We closed all the windows put earplugs in and managed to get another couple of hours, pre the builders arriving, especially as its a late one this evening, pub quiz here we come! Its been three weeks since we were last there.

We walked into town this morning, it was such a lovely clear blue sky, we got the paper, some birthday cards, bought more small divider baskets for inside my sock drawer, to make it more tidy ;-) We went into Reds for coffee and a lunch before a lovely walk home in the warm sunshine.

We have spent the whole afternoon working in the garden, in shorts and a vest top I might add, topping up the tan ;-). Lots of weeding, planted up some cornflowers, a brunnera Jack Frost and a clump of Monarda's that we bought at Dunham Massey yesterday. Cut back a honeysuckle that was a bit too rampant, tidied up several clematis that are coming into leaf, lots of buds showing promise too, feed all the camelias, azaleas and rhoddi's, hubs planted up the sweetpeas, potatoes, strawberries and chillis too.

Just a sandwich for tea this evening.
Once Ive uploaded this I need to jump in the shower and get ready for the pub :-) Our four teammates got a second place whilst we were Way, so a bit more for the kitty!
