Prunus Amanagowana Flower.

     Lovely day again and decided I would get the macro lens out and do some close up shots. 

     This Prunus is a 'Pillar' type  tree and is currently coming into full blossom. We have two of the trees and when in flower, they look like a pillar of flowers, however they are very susceptible to greenfly and aphids. I am prepared as I bought some bug killer from that DIY shop!!

     I took some other shots but liked this one with the afternoon sun shining on the flower.
