St Abb's Head
My brother, his partner and I did the walk around St Abb's Head today which T had done many years ago and wanted to revisit. We were lucky with the weather which was much better than forecast. There weren't that many birds nesting yet - mostly kittiwakes with a few fulmars. The razorbills and guillemots will be coming later. We saw gannets flying along either singly or in a line of several, presumably to or from the Bass Rock. We returned via the Mire Loch and could see from above where the swans were nesting - see the extra photo.
