First-cut postponed

Back from winter service and ready for the new season

Or so I thought.

Problem with 54 year-old machinery is getting spares. The carburettor on the Villiers engine had its problems but it worked. However the engineer wanted to stop the leak, he stripped it down rebuilt it and had it working.

Just after I took the photo I tried to fire-up the engine to no avail, after 20 minutes with no semblance of life, I gave up.

Now the mower is back in the workshop and the lawn remains uncut
