All is not quiet on the Eastern Front...

I realise this photo doesn't really show it but even though Chinese New Year was a few days ago, the locals still find cause to celebrate. Fireworks have been going off literally non-stop for the past few days. We got back from a night club last night (well... this morning actually. ahem.) at about half five in the morning and the fireworks were still going strong! On the street right outside my window. They have been going ever since.

Anyway, I was just doing some laundry on the sixth floor of our apartment building and I could see fireworks outside the window - you can barely see them in the center of this photograph.
