.... emergency flower blip. 

This bromeliad has been purposefully selected as the subject for today"s blip.

It is a parting gift from step daughter who has been staying for a few months. She is now arriving in Oxford to start a new job as an editorial assistant. 

She's worked hard to get it and am so proud of her. It has been lovely having her stay and getting to know her better as young adult, following a stay in the US where she studied for her masters, graduating last year.
