HOLYWELL BAY but without Ros Poldark!

We had planned a day out and hoped for brilliant sunshine.  But the weather prediction was dull all day.  Fortunately we ignored this information and as planned went down to this lovely bay which is only around the corner from where we live.

For those followers of Poldark they might recognise the view as this is where all the romantic scenes on the beach are filmed.  We had lunch at the local pub where the film crew like to congregate.

Oscar and Phoebe enjoyed the walk with little Oscar trying to dig down to Australia and finding water.  The beach is more stony than here and we were able to collect lots more shells for my next project.

Now Friday, weekend in sight.  Enjoy everyone and hope it's not too hot in London for the Marathon.  One of our lovely neighbours is running for Cancer and has trained hard but dehydration could be the problem!
