Wildflowers

This is my 'Wild Flower Patch' on the river bank.   Each year the Forget-me-nots flower and cover the bank along with Primroses, Cowslips, Red Dead Nettle and a few others.   I sat on a bench I have there with a cup of tea this afternoon, and hearing all the birdsong and insects buzzing was quite  magical,    There was also an occasional plop in the water as a fish took an insect from the surface.
