Loughrigg Tarn Reflections

Firstly, many thanks for the response to yesterday's image.  I had a lot of pleasure in choosing just one image from the morning.  Looks like a made a good decision.

I'm a little stiff from yesterday's exertions and when I looked out of the bedroom window at 5:30 am to see thick cloud above, I made a decision to roll over and give myself a bit more rest.  After breakfast I headed up to Loughrigg Fell for a short walk before heading home.  I seem to have found calm conditions (at least in the valleys of the Lake District) on each day.  This was taken on the edge of the tarn of the same name.

Now home, the weather was still exceptional and so I sat out in the garden with the cat for company, until my wife got home from work.
