Dunorlan Park
Took my picnic lunch to Dunorlan Park where I knew the conservation group would be hard at work. I had read that the task required lots of muscle so stayed well clear while they were setting up. Made myself useful sitting on the grass holding staples for the guys to hammer the fence to the posts. If you are wondering whether this is health and safety gone mad I will explain that this double fence, either side of sausages of reeds and stones is to stop the ducks eating the plants that we keep planting that are supposed to stop the bank eroding. It really was too hot to be working, the guys in waders were melting.
