Close to Almscliffe Crag

Went for a lovely walk with friends which took in this dramatic crag. It was extremely hot work and by the time we reached the crag near the end of our walk most of us couldn't summon up the energy to ascend. Jimmy was so hot he had lost all his energy and had reached a plodding pace which says it all. There were sheep and lambs everywhere we looked and these were also feeling the heat.
