Flower Friday

Wife is away for the weekend climbing in the Peak District so I’ve been photographing plants that are likely to be on her list as “weeds”. One such is my blip for today - Pentaglottis Sempervirens also known as green alkanet> I love the forget-me-not like flower. My extra is a new clematis (alpina foxy) that I’ve started climbing an apple tree – an early flowerer, I’m hoping it will provide interest before the blossom and leaves appear.
