It’s the science festival at the moment and there is an eco village set up at the foot of the Mound to showcase renewable energy. I liked the juxtaposition of the new solar panel wheel and the Royal Scottish Academy. The extra is of the top of an atmospheric  Waverley market looking towards the castle.
