Well, the nights are drawing in, but in R's pad it's always 29C in the shade. Must get my shades on and pop round.
Monday back at work; apparently one of the many high heid yins is deliberating on 'the shape' of the programme over the next few months. My advice would be to pay me a handsome retainer, in return for which I would be willing to be recalled at short notice (say one week). A win-win, I'd say.
Managed to get mitts on a copy of 'In Flanders Fields' published in 1958; with all this poppy stuff going on it's good to reacquaint yourself with the tragedy and folly of WW1 before it gets hijacked once again by the brass. So says I, anyway.
