What are you looking at?

On Sauvie Island there are several platforms for the Ospreys to build their nests; I saw two of them occupied today. This couple was a little bit disturbed by my stop to take their photo. One of them threatened to leave, but changed his mind and simply stayed.

It was a pleasant day and I had to pick up something in North Portland; it seemed logical that I would drive a little out of my way to the Wildlife viewing areas on Sauvie Island. Mt Hood and Mt St Helen were bright and beautifu; see the extras for their photos.
