Distant Gold....

This image was captured from one of my favourite view points along the Taylor River early this morning. Maisie and I took a longer route to the Meadowbank Station Bridge and back. The weather was almost mild... no need for gloves this morning. Early this afternoon son-in-law Steve and granddaughter Emily called in on their way to Nelson. They had brought the car and mountain bikes over from Wellington on the ferry. They are hoping for nice weather in Nelson.
