Ness Cove

The last day of our holiday - boo!  A properly beautiful day though - so we drove back to Teignmouth and had a good walk around there, followed by a return (and much drier) trip to Shaldon and Ness Cove.  We had a nice amble from one end of the beach to the other, then headed back to the car, picking up an ice cream (with added clotted cream) on the way.

It was still reasonably early, so we took the scenic route back, via Babbacombe and Ilsham Marive Drive - so beautiful!  It was really quite hot by the time we got back to the cottage, so we had a little rest indoors for a while, then had a nice walk round Stoke Gabriel, exploring some of the twisty lanes, the area around the mill pond and the churchyard.  All so pretty.

We stayed in for our last dinner (easy pesto pasta), and watched a silly film (The Other Guys), leaving most of our packing for the morning.
