A quare day

Sunshine and warmth! Woohoo! Mind you, it's only 16°C and there's quite a stiff breeze blowing, but it still feels lovely.

The Ards Man and pal are hammering madly at the winch that controls the anchor on the boat, with the aim of fixing the erratic nature of its operation. I'm so glad, as that's usually my job when we're afloat, as the AM helms when we're trying to anchor somewhere. The anchor chain is really noisy when it's rolling out so we yell at each other at the best of times. When things aren't going according to plan it can get a bit fraught!

So preparations are now in hand for the new season. Let's hope the weather cooperates eventually. Hope you're having a good weekend, whatever the weather :)
