Temple Newsam

Well, another University day-trip it is! We went to Temple Newsam for our Renaissance module. We're doing about Renaissance portraits this week, so it was the perfect place to go. We really had fun going around looking for pictures and analysing them. 

It got to around 3.30 and the coach wasn't due until 4.30 so Zoe let us all wander off for the hour. Everyone went to the cafe, typical, but I went off for a little walk around the park. It was beautiful, the wind and the imagery were amazing. I felt so free, so calm and relaxed. There was one tree that was all twisted and leant to one side and it looked rad- I never use that word so you can imagine how much I mean it! 

Anyway, we finally got picked up and I came home to my boyfriend, of course, he was on his Xbox. So I decided to not disturb him and just go sit on my own for a while. Ended up being until 11pm when he decided he was ready for bed. 

It really upsets me when he does that. It's pretty much every day now. I guess it makes him happy to be on his Xbox all day so I can't complain too much, I just want to be able to make him happy too...

Oh well, I'll get used to being alone again eventually.
