Powderham Castle

Lady Marian wanted to go to a garden centre she'd heard about so we went over that way this morning. Unfortunately, it's not open on Saturdays so it was a bit of  wasted journey. Marian thought she'd better get me a coffee at Powderham Castle which is close by. 

There's a very nice view of the castle from there and the fresh foliage on the trees looked splendid so while Marian had a wander round the gift shop and the plant sales, I had a little  walk around and took a few shots across the deer park. There had been a shower of rain as we left home but the sky brightened a little for my final shot, which is the one you see here.
