Better stock up then!

We’ve had a grand day which began at York University. We were running the start for a Sprint selection race for the 16-20 year olds. This is one of a series of orienteering events which will inform the selectors of the athletes available for upcoming summer tours, such as ours at Lagganlia, but also the European Youth Orienteering Champs and the Junior World Orienteering Champs. Many of the competitors had been through the Lagganlia Tour at some point so it was great to see them and see how they’ve grown!

Afterwards we left the car at the Park n Ride and took the bus in to York for some lunch and to pick up a few things we needed. York was heaving with folks so we didn’t stay long before picking up the car and driving here to Nev’s where Nev and I are relaxing over lagers whilst Tony cooks the lamb casserole (I’m on dessert!)
