Neighbourhood

Little Nikau is just about ready to be let loose on the neighbourhood. He is itching to get out of the door and into the big wild world. Unfortunately for him, and fortunately for our garden's birdlife, he'll be in for a while longer, as he hasn't had his final vaccination yet. He's had an upset tummy for a couple of days, but seems to be coming right. Reminds us just how delicate they are at first, I guess. He's eating and drinking and running around like a lunatic.

Little Miss and I helped out at Pets' Haven this morning, walking a couple of dogs. Then basketball (Little Miss played a stormer of a game! Very impressive!).

We had a cruisy evening at home, playing with the cat (me) and snoozing on the couch (Mr B).

It's been a nice day.
