After 6 weeks ...

... of satisafctory, if limited use as a phone and SMS terminal, the battery got hot wouldn't charge fully, ran down even when swithced off etc.  After days of working through Mr Motorola's instructions and forums and YouTube the not nice CWOL people said they were not certified to repair the phone and, despite Consumer Rights Act, they would not give us our money back for an item that was u/s within 6 weeks of new.  What they didn't say was Mr Motorola's staff are much nicer than CWOL and Mr M's team took a long time talking us through all sorts of boring and complicated battery resets etc and only then said send it in (but at our own expense) for a repair: well, after days of screenshots and charging and discharging and phone calls we were hapy to pay £3-4 just to get it out of the house.....
