Comicon Edinburgh

Tom hatched his plans and created his own costume for Comicon. Subcontracted some of the sewing work obviously... and admitted to a few pre-departure nerves of the 'what if anyone sees me... what if I'm the only one dressed up?' variety.

Countermeasures were deployed in the form of a younger brother dressed as Spongebob. Bright, yellow and mostly oblong - sure to draw the eye.

He needn't have worried - the saluting and live, long and prospering started at the door and rarely let up. All other Trekkies were 50-something and causing some undue strain on their star fleet uniforms I'll grant you but it made it all far less stressful.
