St.Quricus, St.Julietta and St.George

Me and Andy played in a golf competition this morning, my first since last August, and it wasn't too bad. Of 63 entrants I was 36th and Andy a creditable 18th. And I finished with the same ball that I started with, a novelty for me :)

This evening I helped out Clevedon Brass at an early St.Geroge's Day concert with a traditional proms feel to it - Fantasia on British Sea Songs and Pomp & Circumstance included. There was a real community spirit, a welcome wine and buffet interval and a comical re-enactment of St.George slaying the dragon, a real hoot. All topped off with a sociable post concert beverage at the local hostelry.
