8am
I’d been contacted by another potential purchaser so, given that he was coming to visit at low tide I had to forego the pleasure of a Saturday morning lie in with the papers. Still, the pleasure of the early sun, promising a warm day and the flat calm across the water was more than compensation for that.
Home to plant up - starting with the lovely little apple tree in full blossom. And then sushi sitting out in the warmth of the early afternoon. So, later the couple visited (we shall see) and I lugged my lifejackets over to an RNLI clinic in Dad’s old kit bag. It still being a fine day, I got the mainsail up and got news of the son who has found a place to stay up at St Leonard’s - we’ll see how long that lasts.
The days are too short though, and eventually the outside fun had to stop. But a real treat for evening viewing - Jesus Christ Superstar. Apparently there are many memorable toons therein, apart from the one I knew. I'd say it's best viewed as of historical interest shall we say.
