Triple Scoop

A long, long day! Liam, Hannah and Jakob met us at the airport and after a train in we had a late breakfast in the scorching heat. Having just lived through the longest winter ever in Ireland, this was gorgeous, but I was wholly unprepared as usual. From above I think I now resemble a fried egg, sprinkled with paprika. Oh well.. Frankfurt were playing Berlin in soccer so very happy (drunk,singing) fans everywhere. 
Walks in the sunshine, a trip to an architecture museum, a pleasant meal out of doors at a pub. Managed to get something without meat..though I think vegetarians need to actually hold their breath in order not to imbibe meat in a German restaurant. We decided to stay an hour longer and have another beer as the train we meant to get was absolutely chock to the gills, with beery fans, standing room only for a 2 and a half hour trip.
We arrived home to Kassel exhausted after 20 hours awake, just enough energy for a small Irish whiskey :) A few holiday snaps here.
No wifi where we are so this a quick hotspot effort. Will try and comment/reply here and there over the next few days.
