False Indigo Bush
Our Amorpha fruticose L. is blooming! I don't think that I've ever blipped these interesting blooms before. False Indigo Bush is native to most of the U.S. (the lower 48, except for Montana and Navada) and Central/Eastern Canada. It's blooms are favorites with the buzzers!
Wishing all of you a Very Happy Earth Day! The history of this day dates back to a time when we were becoming aware of the need to protect and nourish this blue/green planet which we call Home and although protection of the environment has suffered major setbacks during the current ill-guided and short-sighted administration... be assured that this too shall pass.
