The Best of the Day

Me and Him Outdoors ran the farm track this morning to try and start what we thought would be a frustrating day, positively. The run was great and the day better than imagined.

Brother and sister in law arrived at lunch time and we headed to the garden of a favourite and dog friendly pub for a lovely lunch and catch up. We walked at the lakes on the afternoon and took great pleasure in watching the dog nephew splashing on the beach with loads of other four legged friends.

An ice cream mission on the way home before I prepared supper and my sister and partner arrived to make up the party. All went well and the contingent from my side of the family certainly helped the dilution. It was a good evening!
